Biography

Lindsey graduated with her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Binghamton University and then pursued her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Hofstra University. She currently holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), as well as a New York State license to practice Speech-Language Pathology. Additionally, she is TSSLD certified (Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities) in NY. Lindsey has provided services to individuals from kindergarten through 21 years of age with expressive and receptive language disorders, speech sound disorders, and social pragmatic deficits in settings such as public schools, private schools, and via teletherapy. Currently, Lindsey works in a private special day school in Manhattan for children with learning differences. She works with elementary, middle, and high school students with diverse learning profiles, including dyslexia, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, executive functioning difficulties, and social communication disorders. Lindsey works with her students in a 1:1 setting and understands the importance of building relationships with the students and families she services. She strives to capitalize on a child’s strengths and interests to develop various skill sets further. She strongly believes learning should be fun and strives to make her sessions exciting and engaging.
