Biography
Ellie is a Speech-Language Pathologist licensed in New York State. She holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), and is certified as a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD). She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Hearing and Speech Sciences at the University of Maryland and her Master of Science in Speech and Language Pathology from Teachers College, Columbia University. Ellie has experience working with children of all ages, from toddlers through high school, in both school-based and private practice settings. She has worked with neurodivergent and neurotypical children with a range of communication and learning needs, including expressive and receptive language, social communication, literacy, and articulation. Ellie takes an individualized, child-centered approach to therapy, tailoring intervention to each child’s unique strengths, needs, and goals. She values collaboration with families, educators, and other professionals and strives to create a supportive environment where children feel comfortable, confident, and motivated to grow their communication skills.
